Event information
A Tolpuddle Events Committee community event featuring two of the UK's top emerging contemporary Folk artists, Daisy Chute and James Walker. On their Arts Council funded UK leg of their European tour. We feel very lucky to be able to bring these two outstanding original artists to Tolpuddle.
Daisy Chute is an esteemed singer, having performed with Katie Melua, Melanie C and sang backing vocals on Radiohead's album A Moon Shaped Pool. Alongside this, Daisy was also part of the multi-platinum selling classical project All Angels, performed with them at The Royal Albert Hall, and is currently working on a debut full length record with the fantastic producer Tim Baxter (Editors, Nick Mulvey).
James Walker makes left-field, alternative pop music, and will be releasing a new catalogue of material over 23/24, funded by Arts Council England, and releasing on 25X GRAMMY Nominated label Snafu Records (who I've just signed with, as one of their small roster of only twenty artists with a combined 20m+ monthly listeners). He's been touring for over a decade, and has performed at more than 1,250 concerts worldwide, and received over 30m streams to date.
